At the same time, bearing heat treatment is also a major energy consumer and major polluter in bearing manufacturing. Bearing heat treatment equipment directly affects bearing heat treatment quality, as well as energy consumption and pollution. In recent years, with the advancement of technology, the development trend of heat treatment technology is mainly reflected in the following aspects:

(1) Waste water, waste gas, waste salt, waste oil and electromagnetic radiation formed by the clean heat treatment heat treatment production will cause pollution to the environment. To solve the environmental pollution problem of heat treatment, the implementation of clean heat treatment (or green environmental heat treatment) is one of the development directions of heat treatment technology. This puts high requirements on the heat treatment atmosphere, quenching oil and cleaning equipment.

(2) Precise heat treatment. Precision heat treatment is to fully guarantee the stability of the optimized process, to achieve a small (or zero) product quality dispersion, zero heat treatment distortion, reduce grinding retention, improve production efficiency, and save materials. To achieve precise heat treatment, there must be good furnace temperature uniformity, temperature control accuracy, and good cooling and stability of the quenching agent. To achieve precision heat treatment of bearings, two methods of overall quenching and induction quenching can be adopted.

(3) Energy-saving heat treatment uses new insulation materials to improve the energy utilization rate of heat treatment equipment; optimize heat treatment process, increase process output, and give full play to equipment capabilities. At this stage, various bearing manufacturers are doing experiments in this area, such as making full use of waste heat and waste heat. Some manufacturers have used forging waste heat to spheroidize annealing of bearing parts; low energy consumption and short cycle technology are used to replace long cycle and large energy consumption The process of the lower bainite quenching process to a certain extent, within a certain range, replaces the carburizing process with a long period and large energy consumption with a shorter bainite quenching process.

(4) Less oxidation-free heat treatment By using protective atmosphere heating instead of oxidizing atmosphere heating to control atmosphere heating with precise control of carbon potential and nitrogen potential, the performance of parts after heat treatment is improved, and heat treatment defects such as oxidation, decarburization and cracks are greatly reduced , The finishing allowance after heat treatment is reduced, which improves the utilization rate of materials and machining efficiency. Vacuum heating gas quenching, vacuum or low-pressure carburizing, nitriding, nitrocarburizing and boronizing can significantly improve the quality of the workpiece, reduce distortion, and increase life.
